ADAPTER CLUB #13: Will 3D Concrete Printing Transform Construction?
This event is in Estonian
On 10 November, from 13.00 to 15.00, TTK University of Applied Sciences invites businesses to an Adapter Club event to explore how 3D concrete printing could shape the future of construction and what opportunities it already offers companies today.
The construction sector faces labour shortages, rising costs, pressure to increase productivity and sustainability targets. Automated construction technologies, including 3D concrete printing, are increasingly seen as a potential solution.
At the event, we will explore where the technology is already being used in practice, which problems it can help solve and what challenges companies need to overcome before adopting it.
In focus
Is 3D concrete printing the future of construction or a niche technology?
What are the technology’s current capabilities and limitations? Where are commercially viable solutions already being developed?
Productivity and automation
How can 3D printing help reduce material use, automate processes and increase productivity in construction?
Research supporting business
What development projects are Estonian researchers working on, and how can companies access their expertise and facilities?
Business experiences and future prospects
Together with business representatives and experts, we will discuss the opportunities and barriers affecting wider adoption of the technology.
Who should attend?
- Construction companies
- Building designers and architects
- Construction material manufacturers
- Property developers and real estate companies
- Manufacturing companies
- Anyone looking to automate construction and put innovation into practice
Why attend?
