Service description
Experiments carried out on solid fuels, combustion residues and boiler sediments to determine its chemical composition:
– Content of basic elements (Si, Ca, Al, Fe, Mg, K, Na, Cl)
– Determination of different sulfur components – sulfates, sulfides and total content of sulfur
– Determination of sulfur by Eschka method
– Determination of C, H, N, S, and O with elemental analyzer
– Determination of anions by ion chromatography
– Determination of ash melting behavior
– Determination of free CaO
– Determination of pH
Laboratory in Department of Energy Technology is accredited and has competence in fuel analyses, thermal engineering and conducting air emission measurements.
