Innovation voucher
The innovation voucher enables a small and medium-sized entrepreneur (SME) who is cooperating with a higher education institute, test laboratory, or intellectual property experts, to develop innovative solutions for development obstacles, carry out tests with new materials, gather knowledge on technologies, conduct studies in intellectual property databases etc.
Maximum grant 6000 EUR. The maximum grant percentage from the entire cost is 80%
Development voucher
The development voucher is essentially a supporting measure for preliminary research. The results of the development voucher should enable the entrepreneur to gain comprehensive knowledge on whether their development idea has the potential necessary for continuing the development process in other stages.
Maximum grant 35 000 EUR
The maximum grant percentage from the entire cost is 70%
Enterprise Development Programme
The enterprise development programme aims to support well-thought-out development, improved action planning, innovation implementation and product development. In the course of the development programme, each participating enterprise will launch new products and services that are more profitable than their predecessors.

The Leader programme is one of the most successful initiatives of the European Commission.

EIT Digital
EIT Digital aims at global impact through European innovation fuelled by entrepreneurial talent and digital technology. EIT Digital strengthens Europe’s position in the digital world by delivering breakthrough digital innovations to the market and breeding entrepreneurial talent for economic growth and improved quality of life. EIT Digital helps business and entrepreneurs to be at the frontier of digital innovation by providing them with technology, talent, and growth support. TalTech is a partner of the EIT Digital network and a regional innovation center.

Applied research specializations in smart growth areas (NUTIKAS)
The funding helps entrepreneurs commission applied research and product development necessary in smart specialization growth areas from public research and development institutions. The funding may be applied for projects with the duration of up to three years. This is a good opportunity for a company to carry out large-scale development projects in a relatively short period of time.

Applied Research and Development in Agriculture 2015–2021
The objective of the applied research program is to give the Ministry of Rural Affairs a scientific basis on which to form politics, law-making, and national supervision as well as to coordinate and finance the participation in international scientific cooperation. The program helps to implement measures of the ministry’s operating areas, thanks to which the program can be used to fill the goals set in different spheres.

Support for Developing Products, Customs, Processes and Technologies
The objective of the support for developing products, customs, processes and technologies is to sponsor single projects that improve cooperation and develop innovation primarily in the agricultural, food and forestry sectors as well as to provide solutions for problems connected to the production processes of specific manufacturers and processors. The projects must be directed at solving primary tasks set up by a company based on practical needs, not on financing single scientific interests. A sub-measure of the Estonian Rural Development Plan (ERDP) 2014–2020 Measure 16 – ‘Cooperation’.

Environmental investments
There are different activities supported in environmental investments: The fishery programme, the marine environment programme, development of water management infrastructure, recycling of waste and preparation for reuse, the nature preservation programme, the forestry programme, the atmosphere air protection programme, the earth programme, .he management of environment programme, the environmental awareness programme.

Innovation in SMEs
By coupling research and innovation, Horizon 2020 is helping to achieve this with its emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges.
Horizon 2020 is open to everyone, with a simple structure that reduces red tape and time so participants can focus on what is really important. This approach makes sure new projects get off the ground quickly – and achieve results faster.

EIT Manufacturing
EIT Manufacturing is one of eight knowledge and innovation communities in the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). EIT Manufacturing wishes to contribute to the leap in the development of manufacturing technology by putting the technology developed in labs into everyday use. The University of Tartu is a partner of the EIT Manufacturing network and a regional innovation center

EIT RawMaterials
EIT RawMaterials, initiated and funded by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), a body of the European Union, is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide. Its vision is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe. Its mission is to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain by driving innovation, education and entrepreneurship. TalTech is core partner of EIT Raw Materials from 2018.

EIT Urban Mobility, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable

Support for Innovation Clusters
The support for the innovation clusters is a sub-measure of the Estonian Rural Development Plan (ERDP) 2014–2020 Measure 16 – ‘Cooperation’.
The objective of the innovation cluster is to stimulate economic activities and innovation while advancing intensive communication, the division of resources and exchange of knowledge and know-how, thus, effectively aiding knowledge transfer, networking and the distribution of information between enterprises as well as for example, other coherent groups, universities and testing laboratories.
